Project Title:

Design and Deliver: Educational Materials Makeover!

Topic Focus:

Probabilities of Simple and Compound Events – aligned with Grade 9 Mathematics, Quarter 4.

Problem / Gap Addressed:

Many students struggle to differentiate and calculate probabilities of simple versus compound events. Our material aims to bridge this gap with engaging, technology-integrated instruction.

Learning Objectives:

By the end of the lesson, students should be able to:

• 1. Distinguish between simple and compound events using examples.
• 2. Calculate the probability of both simple and compound events correctly.
• 3. Solve related problems with at least 80% accuracy.

Target Learners:

Grade 9 high school students. We considered their varied mathematical backgrounds and designed visual and interactive tools to aid conceptual understanding.
